The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation, on 17th September at Pumwani Hospital, enhanced the skills of community health promoters by causing them to perform a skit simulating a community-based home visit to explain the benefits of attending Antenatal Clinics regularly. This followed training on risk factors and community-based interventions for PPH. Each CHP simulated the exercise in the presence of their colleagues and other healthcare workers. The participants benefited from advice on their skills.
