The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation anchored the fight against postpartum haemorrhage at Pumwani Maternity Hospital on 17th September, 2025, through training of over 30 midwives and obstetric nurses. The trainees were drawn from Pumwani level V hospital as well as other hospitals and health centres.
These critical healthcare workers were trained and commissioned as EPPH advocacy champions. After the interactive half-day training, they pledged to educate others and champion the fight against PPH through community health education and improved quality of care.
