The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation extended training of EPPH advocacy champions to pre-service nurses from Pumwani Maternity College of Nursing and Midwifery on 17th September 2025. The Foundation identified otherwise overlooked students from “private” schools in nursing as potential champions in the fight against PPH. The initial cohort of two (2) joined a growing army of students from Kenya Medical Training Colleges (KMTC) in the fight against PPH. The students pledged to share the training content with their colleagues and join the fight against PPH.
