EXTENDING POSTPARTUM HEMORRJHAGE TRAINING  TO  NAIROBI BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICES COORDINATOR

Activity Description

The PPH Foundation commenced training of Blood Services Coordinators on PPH on 17th September 2025 at Pumwani Hospital. The first of these was the Nairobi County Blood Transfusion  Services Coordinator, Mr Denis Oduor Brutus. Under his leadership, the county has been able to collect enough blood for mothers who suffer from PPH at Pumwani Hospital. The training entailed the concept, execution and benefits of the ROAMING blood acquisition scheme as well as risk factors, presentation, management and complications of PPH. Denis Brutus was certified as an EPPH advocacy champion
