The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation’s ROAMING blood acquisition scheme from September 15 – October 2, 2025, enthused and encouraged young men and women to voluntarily donate blood, register to be repeat donors and consent to being part of the campaign to Save Mothers’ Lives. Mobilized online through social media, the youth, mainly between 16-25 years, turned out in large numbers to donate blood. This enthusiasm spelt hope for the ROAMING blood acquisition scheme, as this demographic constitutes the majority of citizens and has great mobilizing power.
